Tanya originally trained as a Performance Designer, but has since worked in various capacities in and around theatre. Some of the companies/artists include Gecko, BBC, Fuel, STOMP, Punchdrunk, Paines Plough, Graeae, Wardrobe Ensemble, Little Bulb, Tamasha, Gingerline, Engineer, Pecho Mama, Tom Adams, Spymonkey, Kalí, Company 3, Polka Theatre, The British Library, Nevill Holt Opera, Holy What, The Invisible Dot, Secret Garden Party, Ensemble Amorpha and Rhea Thierstein.
Her work in theatre thus far has shown that her care and motivation always stems from the bigger picture, which is that the performances are telling stories to provoke social justice or change.

Tanya has designed her own interactive performance installations for festivals, has been a Stylist and Production Designer for commercials, films and music videos, and has also led on the designs and production for several large weddings.
She graduated with an MA in Advanced Theatre Practice at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in 2013,
a BA in Performance Design at University of Leeds in 2010, and a foundation diploma at Camberwell School of Art in 2007.
